Hi,
We are facing a problem in terms of choosing the installation configuration. In client environment, there is a machine 1 which has got windows 2003, SQL Server which is being given to us for installation of K2.NET. Also there is machine 2 which is running Share Point Portal Server. Now , what i need to know is do we need to install K2.NET 2003 Share Point Components on Machine 1 . For this we need to install SharePoint Services on Machine 1 or can we install K2.NET 2003 Share Point Components on machine 2 which is already running Share Point Portal Server

Hi Deepak,
I'm fairly certain this is explained in the installation documentation. You do not need to install the Additional Sharepoint components on machine 1 but yes, you will need to install it on machine 2 - just run the normal installation on machine 2 and de-select everything except the 'Additional Sharepoint components'.
Since these components are installed on a separate machine, you will have to enable Kerberos authentication. Please refer to KB article: http://kb.k2workflow.com/Articles/KB000123.aspx

Anyone here running SharePoint Server or WSS on the same machine as K2 server, IIS and SQL Server? (all 4 on same machine)
Is that a supported environment?

Should not be a problem at all. Just remember NOT to install K2V3 (K2.net Workspace) and Sharepoint under the same site. Easiest would be to keep K2V3 under 'Default Sites' and install Sharepoint under a separate site using a different port or IP.
