Dears,

I am trying to install Blackpearl workspace in 2 diff. scanrios :

1. On another server (not same server component) , done everything ...configuration ...IIS/IE .....still recieving error :

onfiguration Error
Description: An error occurred during the processing of a configuration file required to service this request. Please review the specific error details below and modify your configuration file appropriately.

Parser Error Message: Could not load file or assembly 'SourceCode.SecurityManagementAPI, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=16a2c5aaaa1b130d' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

2. Tried to install on same server (windows 2008 and IIS 7 ) which has server component of black pearl running with no issues. I got below error

HTTP Error 405.0 - Method Not allowed

Please anybody help in both issues or one at least :)

Can you verify that the SourceCode.SecurityManagementAPI exists in the [Windows]assembly folder and in the [Blackpearl installation folder]in and the [[Blackpearl installation folder]Host Serverin folders. You could also check the installation and configuration logs for any clues.

On the IIS 7 side it suggest that there is an invalid verb, maybe the following will help:

Thanks alot ya man!!!

as for kerberous it is nothing

just install the Windows Support Tools from your windows CD; here is a link that helps http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=62270.

after the installation just run the windows support tools from the command prompt

it will be something like this ; see the link http://cid-9d428082aae39704.skydrive.live.com/self.aspx/All/kerber.JPG

then run the spns; an example is pasted below where the original line is above and the line below it is an example

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
setspn – A K2HostServer/[MachineName.FQDN]:5555 [DomainName][ServiceAccount]
setspn –A K2HostServer/TEST-K2.MY_DOMAIN.COM:5555 MY_DOMAINK2ADMIN
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
setspn – A BlackPearlServer/[MachineName]:5555 [DomainName][ServiceAccount]
setspn –A BlackPearlServer/TEST-K2:5555 MY_DOMAINK2ADMIN
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
setspn – A K2Server/[MachineName.FQDN]:5252 [DomainName][ServiceAccount]
setspn –A K2Server/TEST-K2.MY_DOMAIN.COM:5252 MY_DOMAINK2ADMIN
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
setspn – A HTTP/[MachineName.FQDN] [DomainName][ServiceAccount]
setspn –A HTTP/TEST-MOSS.MY_DOMAIN.COM MY_DOMAINK2ADMIN
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I HOPE THIS HELPS

Why this SPN :

setspn – A BlackPearlServer/[MachineName]:5555 [DomainName][ServiceAccount]

As far as i know its should be used only in case youhave old version of black pearl software , not to set it in case you have SP1 or later release !! any reason why u mention it ...!

Hi

I am just following the installation documentation.

i think this question should be redirected to k2 technicals

Badge +8

Khatib is correct, from SP1 onwards you only need K2Server and K2HostServer SPNs.

thanks for both for this valuable information :-)

It seems that old habits and old installation manuals done by yourself are hard to change ;-)
