Hello all,
we have a few processes and all are begun with an Infopath form submission. However if the users have not entered an InfoPath form in a long time (several hours) the first time they try to submit a new form it gives them a time out error. infopath error that it couldn’t be submitted, some rules were not applied.
I am suspecting that because it has been a long time since its last use, that the APPpool was recycled, and the app needs to be recompiled and "Warmed UP" afterwards users have no problems submitting infopath forms.
I was thinking about trying something to warm up the app and website, using tinyget a IIS resource kit application that is a command line http client.
Question is this, is anyone else using this to keep iis warmed up? what url do I need to request to kep the web service warmed up as well???
