I have a running workflow that allows a checkout edit and checkin of an excel file. This excel file is uploaded to the SharePoint Library and specific properties are filled in for the workflow e.g. approvers.
We have just migrated to SharePoint 2013 and Office 16.
When the execl file is checked out for editing, it cannot be checked in. The server error on the file is:
"cannot save excel file after edit, correct invalid or missing properties error message".
Additionally, the properties cannot be refilled in. The workflow Checkin action is set at "Overwriting the previous version"
Is there a correction so that the file can be checked out and checked in without changes to the properties?
