404 file not found errors in workspace

Looking at the IIS logs reveals some interesting facts , i.e. 404 file not found errors:

2. /Workspace/images/back-repeat.gif (The file is actually named back--repeat.gif in the file system)
   
3. /Workspace/Tasklistcontrol/Script/Config.js (missing)
   
4. /Workspace/OOBReports/Images/black_large_context_arrow.gif (missing)
   
5. /Workspace/OOBReports/Images/spacer.gif (missing)
   
6. /Script/Generic.js (? not even sure what this is all about)
   
7. /Images/spacer.gif (?)

I am not sure, but I suspect that the workspace hanging all the time has something to do with this?
