Loop through every item in a list based on a calculated date field.

I have a list on my site that has a calculated NextDueDate column.  I want to send email notifications to the person in the "taskedTo" column which will have an email address reference, when the NextDueDate equals Todays date or simple triggers on the NextDueDate.  I am pretty new at this and cannot figure it out.

I would appreciate any help.

Thanks

Re: Loop through every item in a list based on a calculated date field.

Hi

have a look in Nintex Xchange™ where you can find custom solutions doing exactly that. Sounds like you need a scheduled site workflow. I know there are at least two solutions of site workflows in xchange - one on tasks and one on document library but both fully adaptable to your solution. I'm not on my PC to link to them at the moment - let me know if you can't find them and I will ping the links across tomorrow.

thanks

cassy

I think the easiest thing to do is a site workflow.

The first action would be a QueryList action.  That would select all list items from your list with a NextDueDate equal to Current Date.

Store result set in a collection variable (Your taskedTo field)

Then do a ForeEach over the collection variable.  You will be able to send an email to all the TaskedTo people in your collection.

Hope this helps.
