Lookup() runtime on lists in another site

Jump to solution

Hi

I am currently converting our various InfoPath forms to Nintex Forms, however I have an issue with the lookup() function.

I can use the function fine to return values based on a list in the same site, but I have lists I reference in different sites in our site collection which is where I am struggling.

I have tried putting the list's full URL in double quotes, its URL from the web application, referencing it as a variable as both full URL and from web applications but I cannot seem to get this to work at all.

It is probably something simple, I have googled around but I can only references  to lookup("yourlist","yourcolumn",namedcontrol, returnvalue) and these lists on the examples are always within the same site

Any help appreciated

Ged
