Client Event Notification to an AD Group instead of its members

Hi everyone,

 

we have a team (K2 Role) which one single member. The member is an AD Group with a mail address.

If we use this team in a Client Event with the destination rule option "Create a slot for each role and group" a single work list item is created for the team but each team member receives an individual mail.

Is there any option to prevent this behavior? Since the AD Group has a mail address a single mail should be send to the team mailbox instead of sending xx mails to each member.

 

I wanted to check the notification events but the event is not listed anywhere...

Hi Daniel,


 


Unfortunately there is no out of the box way of achieving what you want.  I assumy your role members want to email each other on the same email with Reply All.


 


The way to achieve what you want to do would be to use a Email event to send the mail to the specified email address for the group but you will have to insert the URL and serial number to the task.  Looking at the task URL in the current notification will give you the URL to use and the following post explains how to put it all together:
