ItemProperty token not replaced in WebRequest action

Jump to solution

Hi,

I'm implementing a WebRequest action to do a POST to a REST webservice. I want to use ItemProperties in the body of my POST. My problem is that the ItemProperty tokens are not replaced by the actual values from the ListItem. I also use some WFConstant tokens in the same body, they are being replaced with the correct values. Also replacement works fine in the Url field, just not in the Content field.

My tokens show up in the final body of the WebRequest as {ItemProperty:Title} for example, instead of the values from my listitem. I insert the tokens using the "Insert Reference" button next to the Content field.

Anybody knows how to solve this?

Hello,

Are you running this live or using the Run Now functionality to test? If you aren't running it live (once published) give that a try and see if it makes a difference.

Thanks

Mike

Yes, that worked! thanks!

Of course there was no item to get values from when I was running my workflow with Run Now functionality.

Thanks for the reply
