I'm attempting to evaluate Blackpoint on a standalone machine which is running windows 2008 IIS 7. The current installer (as downloaded from the 'trial' element of the website obviously does not support this config (as I have just discovered). There is talk elsewere in the forum over the last 4 to 6 weeks about there being a new installer that support Windows 2008 - it sounds like this should be available around now?

Any news on this? I'd like to undertake an eval very quickly over the next few days for a potential project. Does anyone have a timescale for when this will be available (or a workaround?). I'd prefer not to rebuild the machine for 2003 if I can possibly help it :-(

I appreciate that I could evaluate the hosted version but would prefer to have a local copy for various reasons if possible.

Thanks

HB

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I don't have Blackpearl at the moment, just the eval of Blackpoint. Are you aware of a similar schedule/package for Blackpoint?

Thanks

Hi,

Yes there is a similar update coming for K2 blackpoint which will support Windows Server 2008 and SQL Server 2008.

This will require you to download a new installer that will support this.

Unfortunately I do not have a estimated date of availability but I suggest you look out for it in the next month or so.

Regards,
