Issue
The System SmartObject Delete Method does not allow the use of return properties in Designer (User Role > Serialize Remove From Array).Symptoms
No return property is exposed in Designer to consume during DesignTime.Resolution
This is a bug, The problem is that the method type is "Delete" and in Workflow designer if the method type is "Delete" the assumption (incorrectly) is that there are no output mappings.
Workaround
- SaveAS the SmartObject to your category and Edit it.
- Change the method type from Delete to Update for the 'Serialize Remove From Array Method' and use this in the workflow design
- You should not see the output mapping.
