Create a SharePoint site via workflow.

Symptoms

I have a question regarding the capabilities of the K2 workflow for SharePoint.
Some people in our business would like to be able to automatically create a SharePoint site by submitting a listitem form (containing the site main info like the title...) which would then trigger a K2 workflow that creates that site automatically.

Is that something K2 can do? And if so, how?

Diagnoses

Use SharePoint Sites and Workspaces Wizard.

Resolution

We have a wizard for that!

However there are limitations to the process. You may not be able to interact with the site via K2 workflows until you 'appify' the subsite manually in Sharepoint (by using the K2 app in Sharepoint). A way to work around this could be to send a notification to the SP admin to 'appify' the site as the last step in the workflow.
