"I am fairly new to SharePoint & Work-Flow.
Can you provide step-by-step instructions on how to redirect users after they click save on my Nintex form.
Currently it takes them back to the list. I would like to redirect users to a thank-you confirmation page.
Here is a picture of my form & Work-flow:
Thank you."
Inger,
The redirection URL can be configured in the form settings page:
Cheers,
Andrew Beals
Thank you!
Your message was very helpful.
However, I would like to redirect users to a Thank You page that lists the class, dates, & times they registered for.
How would I accomplish this? Would I create another app or list?
Hi Inger Spikner,
You can create a new page. Add a Content Editor web part and write your thank you note. Below the CEWP, add the list view where this form is located. Filter the view where Created By = [Me].
Users will see only the items that they have registered for. Then you can place the URL of this page in the location as Andrew Beals mentioned above.Hope it helps.
Hello,
The Redirect URL is not working for me, are there any steps being left out? Should the page address go in this space?--if not, what should go in this space to redirect users to a different page?
I would really like to redirect users to a THANK YOU page that lists the class, dates, & times they registered for.
I went to form settings as your response suggested & entered a redirect URL in the space. When I tried the form again, I got an error message.
Please provide step by step instructions (Pictures are even more helpful)---thanks!
Thanks for your reply, but where do I find a Content Editor Web Part?
Is it an APP?
Yes, the page URL should go in this Redirect URL field. Have you created that page yet? Does this URL exists if you go to it directly?
For the Content Editor Web Part:
Edit your page, click on Add a Web Part. The ribbon should show the list of web parts that you can add on your page. Select the category on the left as Media and Content. On the right, you should see the Content Editor. Click on Add on the far right. Now you can add text to this and format it. This is not an app. Let us know if it works.
Thanks for responding.
I will try using another link----the link I was trying to use is a link in our TEST environment and it may not work properly.
Aslo, what page should I add the Content Editor Web Part?
Should I create a brand new Wiki page or list???

Create a new page on the same site Inger Spikner and follow all the steps already identified - then you should be set.
Thanks for responding Cassy.
I am still trying to get the redirect URL to work.
Do you think it matters that the page is a private page in our TEST Environment on our company’s Intranet??
