How to customize the form of a picture library?

I looked on Google and here but could not find a solution for my current issue. Maybe someone can help me here:

I have a request to provide a picture library where one of our locations can upload / share pictures of projects, parties and so on. They also want to be able to provide additional info such as who is in that picture (people picker), a description and a field to add a link.

I can basically achieve all of this with a standard picture library. However I would like to place the additional info mentioned above right next to the preview image and not below it. When I start editing the form for this library the preview image does not get displayed at all and I can't seem to be able to add it again.

So my question is: How to customize the form of a picture library without losing the preview image in the process?

Thanks in advance!
Simon

The best problems are the ones you can solve yourself. I added an 'Image' form control and specified the 'Item URL' as Image URL.

In hindsight this was too easy happy.png
