In the K2 Service Manager, under the Properties for the K2 Server there is the section for Server Name under Selected Server Settings. Currently this is the name of the server (MyServer01). Can this name be changed to a DNS entry (like FooBar) which resolves to MyServer01? Can I also change the ServerName variable in the Web.config file in the workspace directory to do the same? Thanks.

Hi,

Yes the name of the K2.net Server can be a DNS name such as server.domain.local. You can also specify it in the web.config file as the DNS name.

Just make sure the name can resolve to the correct IP address.

Hope this helps.
