Hi there,

As soon as I need to access the website it asks me for my credentials, but even after giving my credentials it says access denied because my credentials are incorrect. It asks me three times and seems to ignore the fact that I gave my credentials to it three times in a row. What must the settings be on the IIS server and the files in the directory?

I also have a problem when accessin g the workspace locally on the server, it seems to hang but no problems from the client.

Regards ,

Nics

Hi Nic,

This is normally due to one of two problems:
1. If you're running on Windows 2003 Server with SP1, have a look at KB article #98 - http://kb.k2workflow.com/Articles/KB000098.aspx. You'll need to do the 'DisableLoopbackCheck' registry setting change discussed.
2. Have you added the K2V3 site to your 'Trusted Sites'?

Ockert,

The link you posted does not work. Is this a microsoft KB article or what?

I did try to follow KB000098 but the value is already set to 1. What must the security setting be in the properties of the web site?

Should be set to 'Integrated Windows Authentication' - ONLY.
