I've set up a workflow in K2 Studio. It interfaces with a Sharepoint Library and uses a Smart Object. The workflow includes a Mail Event but I've been unable to get it to successfully fire off an email when I test the event.
I've used my email address for the Recipient just to test this email, but no luck. Any suggestions on things I should be checking on this?

Is this 2003 or blackpearl? Do you get an error? Check the error logs in Windows as well as K2. It should give you more information. Post back here what the errors are and we can go from there.

The error message I get is as follows:
Message: Invalid length for a Base-64 char array

Which version of blackpearl are you using because this is a known issue and it was fixed in 4.6.2
