Symptoms

 

 

 

You observe loads of the following errors in K2 host server log (logged almost every second):

 

 

 

8060 ProcessPacket Error, Default security label could not be found. Please ensure K2 server has started successfully.

 

 

 

2025 Error Marshalling SourceCode.Security.UserRoleManager.Runtime.UserRoleManagerServer.GetDefaultLabelName, Default security label could not be found. Please ensure K2 server has started successfully.

 

 

 

Restart of K2 blackpearl service does not resolve this issue.

 

 

 

Diagnoses

 

 

 

This is known issue which is addressed in K2 4.6.9. The issue is related with intermittent failures of GetDefaultLabelName method of the SourceCode.Security.UserRoleManager.Client API.

 

 

 

You may run into this issue on 4.6.6 - 4.6.8 and fix is included in K2 4.6.9 and newer versions of K2.

 

 

 

Resolution

 

 

 

Upgrade to K2 4.6.9 or newer version or contact K2 support to obtain coldfix for this issues for versions older than 4.6.9.
