K2.net 2003 Studio Patch (Build 279)

Installing the K2.net Studio Patch
The K2.net 2003 Studio patch, contains various updates to the K2.net Studio environment, including the Microsoft Office Look toolbars.
Before installing the patch, it is imperative to ensure that any previous K2.net Studio Additional Components have been removed. Ensure that you only have the Release Version of K2.net Studio and K2.net SmartForms present in your PC.

Pre-requisites to K2.net 2003 Studio Patch
1. K2.net 2003 Studio (Release Version)
2. K2.net 2003 Installation CD

During the Patch installation, the installer will request for the K2.net Studio Installs. Insert the K2.net 2003 Installation CD, and then click on Browse. Browse and select K2.net 2003 Studio.msi file in the K2.net Installation CD. Then click on Next.

The installer should complete and might ask to restart. Do not restart at this stage, but continue to install the K2.net SmartForms update. Upon completion of the installation, restart your PC.

Updating the K2.net SmartForms Toolbox in VS.NET (if required)
When the first K2.net SmartForm is created in a project, the wizards create the K2.net SmartForms Toolbox. This means that if a K2.net SmartForm page was previously created on the machine (where the installation is being done) prior to the upgrade of the SmartForms, then it is necessary to update this toolbox in order to reflect the new K2.net SmartForm controls in VS.NET.

1. Open a project containing SmartForms in VS.NET, and open up any K2.net SmartForm.
2. On the SmartForm tab in the Toolbox, right click and select "Delete Tab".
3. In your Solution window, create a new SmartForm, and this would cause the new SmartForm Toolbox to appear.
