Hold User While Starting Workflow

I make a wf that creates another item in my list.

After user starts wf, he is returned to list view. List view refreshes, no modal forms.

But wf creates an item just second later user it returned to the list. So he doesnt see new item.

So how can i prolong Starting Workflow screen? So that user will see the newly created item?

Re: Hold User While Starting Workflow

Hi,

You cannot force the workflow processing to run longer and in my opinion, you dont want to do that either. Processing time varies depending on the load on the server or concurrent workflows.

I guess you have to just ask user to be patient enough to refresh the screen while workflow creates the item. Someone may share better option.

This is not about how long wf processing takes, it is exactly about "starting wf screen" time. And i saw it somewhere, though can remember (
