Get Meeting Suggestions Action

I was testing the "Get Meeting Suggestions" action today and found the following:

(The Get Meeting Suggestions Action looks at a users Outlook calendar for times available.)

I set the date range for:

Start after: 2016-08-03

End by: 2016-08-05

Meeting Duration (in minutes): 30

I stored the results in a collection variable.

I emailed the variable result to myself.

The result looked like this:

8/3/2016 11:00:00 AM;8/3/2016 12:30:00 PM;8/3/2016 1:00:00 PM;8/3/2016 1:30:00 PM;8/4/2016 7:00:00 AM;8/4/2016 7:30:00 AM;8/4/2016 8:00:00 AM;8/4/2016 8:30:00 AM;

I wanted to make it more readable by replacing the semicolon with a line break and did the following:

Using the Build String Action inserted the meeting suggestions collection variable in the text box.

Stored the Build String results in a multiple lines of text variable.

Using the Regular Expression Action:

  • entered a semicolon in the "Pattern" box
  • Selected "Replace Text" in "Operation"
  • In the "Replacement Text" box, I selected the "Enter" key
  • In the "Input Text" box, I selected the collection variable created in the "Build String" Action
  • Stored the "Regular Expression" results in a multiple lines of text variable

I emailed the results and saw the Meeting Suggestions were easier to read.
