Error message in event viewer application on k2 server

Hi,


We have a K2 workflow server intergarated with SharePoint 2010. In K2 we were
experiencing some workflow failing issue. We get success to fix this issue but
now we are receiving continuous error log in windows even viewer application.
Below is the error message.


1 An unexpected failure was encountered when contacting SharePoint to get
information from the group provider Test: Server did not recognize the value of
HTTP Header SOAPAction: SourceCode.SharePoint.WebServices/IsClaimsSite.


Can somebody help why this error is coming. Thanks in Advance!

I was previously experiencing something similar to this. I was running a workflow server with version 4.6.4, and K2 Sharepoint tools were 4.5.


Once I upgraded all servers version to 4.6.6 the error no longer occurred. I'm assuming the issue was caused by running different version of the software together.

I have, on numerous occasions, seen issues similar to this after an upgrade. During an upgrade, for whatever reason, sometimes the K2 for SharePoint features/solutions do not fully upgrade. It is sometimes necessary to retract the existing solutions, remove them from the farm solution store, add them back from the latest copy of the files, and redeploy them.
