Form dropdown filter (lookup) - Filter drop down options from list lookup but using a different column

Hi all

I need some advice in relation to a dropdown control in a Nintex list form. Basically I have a drop down list control which is associated to a lookup field, and what I want to do is filter the options in the drop-down by an associated field in the related lookup list…

So, the current dropdown options: -

Item1
Item2
Item3

The lookup list: -

Title        Active
Item1      Yes
Item2      No
Item3      Yes

I want to be able to return only active items for selection in the drop-down control. When I've searched for this particular problem I've largely found results relating to cascading filters, but I don't believe this to be relevant for this particular scenario?

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Re: Form dropdown filter (lookup) - Filter drop down options from list lookup but using a different column

Andy - having the same problem.  When I'm using the list lookup control, I can filter by ANY field in the related list, but ONLY if I don't connect the control.  For some reason, the moment I connect the control, I can only filter by ID or by the lookup columns displayed field.

Is that the same thing you've experienced?

Sounds like a similar issue.  We ended up scrapping the feature as we couldn't find a workaround.
