Continuing my question a few days ago about how to change the status of a flexi task into "Complete" (this thread), I have used the "escalate" function on my flexi task which will automatically complete the task if it has not been approved for two days.
My purpose for creating the escalation process is to design this business process :
To simulate the step 2 and 3, I used Flexi Task with the title "Skip 2 Day Review Process", assigned it to Logistic HQ, then used the delegate function to automatically complete the flexi task after 2 days with the outcome "Continue".
However, the escalation process is not run at all, and the flexi task is still there waiting to be completed manually by Logistic HQ.
I have not set any reminders though. Should I?
Here is my configuration for the flexi task:
And here is my configuration for the escalation process after 2 days:
Thank you very much.
I'm not sure if this is a bug or expected behavior but when using a single branch the escalation does not work. Add another outcome and remove the tick from the advanced options and your workflow will continue.
I am using FlexiTask for approval and for some reason the Reminder does not work on my end at all!!
I set the reminder as following: Mins 10 | Hours: 1 | Days: 1
However, I been waiting over 1 hr since and no reminder being delivered.
Any ideas why ??
Just for the information, this is my Workflow.
You need to enable the "Allow Other" branch. It won't work because the outcome of an escalated task isn't one of the branches. Therefore, the task has nowhere to go. Once you enable the "other" brand it should work.
