SmartObject Service Tester Issue

Hi,

 

I'm seeing issues with our SmartObject tester in K2 5+, I want to install a FileService broker, but our PROD version is acting up.

 

Environments:

DEV - 4.7

PROD - A Clean install of 4.7 then upgraded to 5+.

 

 DEV - 4.7 No issues

Any ideas?

 

This SmartObject tester is on my local machine which was installed with 4.7 as a side note.

Hi,


 


Your client machine's K2 components will need to update to K2 Five version in order to use SmartObject Service Tester tool to connect to your K2 Five production environment, see the following KB. I think the best option is to install the K2 Five client tools on another client machine, this way your existing K2 4.7 SmartObject Tester tool will contintue to work with 4.7 Dev server.

If possible, try remoting to the production server and using the SmartObject Service Tester there (or using the management site to do what you need to do). The service tester on your local machine is 4.7 and cannot talk to a 5.x server.
