I want to use a k2 blackpearl process to manage the item level permission for document library items.
So I start a sharepoint event process if a new item in the document library is created. (e.g. a excel template is filled out and saved)
What I want to do is that only the originator has permisson for this item.
First I add the the originator to the SharePoint list item and then I manage the permission for this user.
But this doesn't work correctly. All other user are deleted from the list item (this is good) but only the system account has permissions for this item and not the originator.

Any ideas?
thx, Jochen

I think it should be possible to set the item level permission for documents using k2, right?

I think this will get you there, use the sharepoint user management event.

I am confused...
There is the sharepoint user management event but it is not working in my situation...
I only want to add a user to the list item and set the persmission for the user.

I am configuring the wizard to add a user to a library
1) Add SharePoint User and Groups --> SharePoint List Item
2) I set the Url, library Name and list item id (EventDetails_ListItem)
3) I select the user
and all is done in the fist step

Then I set the permission for the user I just added before
1)Manage Permission--> SharePoint List item
2)URL, library name, item id (like above)
3) I select the user
4) I set the Sharepoint permission
and the wizard is finished

..but the user is not added to the list item
