For this question Cassy suggests that I "Or filtering your drop down control by your freshness control"  How would I do this....

#2

Also for a lookup field within a Nintex form is it possible to display the records by a sorted value.such as the create date.  Currently my form has the lookup value column called Meat Product, but I have been asked to display the records in sort value of Create Date.

Meat Product  Created

Turkey             12/19/2017

Lamb               12/15/2017

On a list lookup control you are able to specify the "Source View" - so if you create  a view ordered by Created descending on your lookup list that should achieve #2
