When configuring a Reference Event I noticed that it only allows me to populate the input and output parameters with data or XML fields. I can't use Workflow Context items or SharePoint content exposed as a SmartObject.
I experienced this in Beta 2 as well. Currently the workaround appears to be to use the Data Event to first copy data to a data or xml field but this seems like needless extra work since every other event wizard can access workflow context and smartobject properties.
Is this a bug that will be fixed?
