4.8210.2.450 update issue

we have two blackpearl installations(test and production).  4.8210.2.450 patch was updated in the test on 4th august. Production does not have it yet. All our workflows in production and test were working fine. We deployed a new workflow from test to production yesterday. It is giving error at client event escalation saying "Could not load type: SourceCode.KO.EscalationRuleContextbase” from assembly KO” in the k2 workspace in production. Same thing works fine in the test. All our client events have escalations activityies associated with them.


All our workflows in production(deployed before the update) are working fine as ever. Does the update have to do anything with this error.??

You are moving a workflow built on a newer version of blackpearl to a server running an older version .  In general, you can go from older to newer, but when you go the other way there is always the possibility the newer version will take advantage of some feature not present in the older version.

Thanks David, we checked the error by building an activity without any escalation associated with it and moved it to production. It worked just fine. We ll be updating the production soon.
