In k2 service manager, there are five roles:

Start, View, View Participate, Server Event, Adminiatrator.

1.Is it Start+View=Administrator?

2. What is "Server Event" for?

3. If a person is already an Administrator, does he still need to have access to "Server Event"?

4. If someone is granted View, he can view all the instances of the process even if he is not a participant of that instance?

5.And view participate is only for viewing instances a person participates in and he can only view it after he has done his part?

Hi,

Q. Is it Start+View=Administrator?
A. Administrator = Start + View + ViewParticipate + ServerEvents.

Q. What is "Server Event" for?
A. Enables you to control which user has rights to finish a Server Event. This is generally used when you create a synchronous Server Event that needs to be completed by a specific user.

Q. If a person is already an Administrator, does he still need to have access to "Server Event"?
A. No, automatically included

Q. If someone is granted View, he can view all the instances of the process even if he is not a participant of that instance?
A. Correct.

Q. And view participate is only for viewing instances a person participates in and he can only view it after he has done his part?
A. Correct.

Please refer to help file for detailed explanation of each permissions set.

Hope this helps,
Ockert
