Calling a web service but not picking up list items

Hi All

I have a very simple K2 workflow that is configured to call a web service when an item is created in a SharePoint list.  The issue is it is not picking up the SharePoint list items. 

1. 
   
2. When I hard code the Input Values in the Edit Method Call, Configure Code Reference Event it works fine and runs correctly
   
3. I added a Mail Event to make sure I'm picking up the items from the list, the email is populated with the correct data
   
4. The XML Field, Metadata is correct
   

So I can't figure out why I can't get the SharePoint List items into the Input Values for the list.

Any help would be appreciated.
