SmartObject retrieval permission is based on participation of the workitem or granted at process level (admin, view).
In the scenario where a request is completed and we need to add a new employee to replace a team member who has left, we would need to add the new employee to the participants table of the request (in theory).
Can K2 add an API to allow this (instead of having to touch the database)?
We can then create external tool for these scenarios:
- Add person X to see all (completed) items initiated/participated by person Y (whom has since left the firm).
- Add person X to see specific items that person X did not participate.
