Hi,

I have encountered a problem with SmartObjects and SharePoint content types.

I created 17 similar content types in SharePoint (each content type represents one type of document). These content types are asociated with one SharePoint list (other documents). I want to handle all records in the list the same way in K2 workflow. I want to use only one Smartform to display document attributes. BUT when I created SmartObject in SharePoint for the list , the system created 17 SmartObjects. One SmartObject for each content type asociated with the list. I need to have only one general SmartObject to handle all records. As I have only one list in the SharePoint .

Is there any way how to do this? I cannot manage 17 similar workflows and 17 similar SmartForms.

Thanks,

Michal

That is by design. It will create smartobjects based on the number of content types. Why don't you just use one content type and have a new column in there that describes the type of document

It was not my decision and I cannot change it. I have to deal with 17 different content types.
