Have any bugs in K2Server.exe been found and/or fixed in SP2?
We've been seeing K2Server terminate on its own about once a day, with the following item in the Application event log:
The following information is part of the event: .NET Runtime version 1.1.4322.2032- K2Server.exe - Common Language Runtime Debugging Services: Application has generated an exception that could not be handled.
Unfortunately, we haven't yet found the usage scenario that triggers the problem.

Interestingly enough a similar problem was logged recently and we are busy setting up a replica environment to try and debug this (luckily the error can be reproduced). It seems that the K2 server crash is linked to a crash in the .Net framework in both cases. At present we re not sure whether the .Net framework crash precedes the K2 server crash or vice versa, but considering that the K2 server only hosts the .Net framework and is not itself a .Net application, it would seem that the former is more likely.
These are the only 2 cases world wide that we re aware of, so it would be great to get more info on your setup. If we can compare the two it might bring some meaningful commonalities to the fore. Please contact me directly via e-mail so we can try and set something up pierre@k2workflow.com.
