Dropdown in an editable list view

Hi All

 

I want to have the user be able to pick from a dropdown list within an editable list view. Is this possible?

Dear , 

 

Just go to ur editable list ---> Check out ----> edit 

Then go to the bottom of the editing screen , and change the Add/Edit Control to "Drop down-list"  for the column u need, as shown in following

Note : Provide the DDL with a data source , to get data .

For the data source in the Drop-Down List control, be sure to notice that the first option for a data source is a static list.  A static list can be created right there (see attachmenst)  and will not require a link to a smart object nor rules to initialize.   This works best for a relatively short list of items.
