I have a scenario , that I need to apply approve - reject threshold for tasks assigned to group
for example , let`say we have SharePoint group called GroupA , this group has 5 members
we assigned flexi task to GroupA , we have min approves required 3 members min to select option "Approved" to consider the task outcome approved and min rejections required 3 .
So how we can count the number of assignees choose approve or reject option ?
does 3 out of 5 means majority of group members or does it mean always at least 3 regardless of number of group members?
for the first scenario 'Majority must choose a specific outcome' or 'majority decides' flexi task options should do the job for you.
Actually the scenario we have is the second one you mentioned , the number of required approvals or rejections is counted regardless the number of group members .
so you might implement something like described here Multiple concurrent tasks
shortly, run independent parallel workflows for every single approver.
once you have decisions from all the approvers, sum up positive decisions and decide whether it's enough to approve the task or not.
