Changing the Custom CSS does not change the appearance

Jump to solution

When I add a CSS class to the Form Settings Custom CSS section, it does not render when I publish the form.

For example, I added this to the top of the Custom CSS box.

.nf-form-label .nf-section

{

   background-color: yellow;

   color: blue;

   border:5px solid red;

}

But after I save and publish, none of those appear. The background is not yellow. The font is not blue, etc.

I've also tried adding those attributes to the classes that already exist in Custom CSS.

Re: Changing the Custom CSS does not change the appearance

I have a SharePoint Nintex form in classic mode. I'm trying to change the text box appearance.

Eventually, I want to be able to change the CSS style for printing, but I wanted to start with something easy and just see if I could change a simple text box and/or label as proof for myself that it can be done.

Ultimately, the customer wants the print layout to appear differently than the regular layout. But for now, I'm just seeing if I can change anything via CSS, and apparently I'm not able to.

BTW, I'm a programmer who is new to Nintex. I was chosen for this because the customer wanted a CSS solution. Thanks.

Remove .nf-form-label from added css

.nf-section

{

   background-color: yellow;

   color: blue;

   border:5px solid red;

}
