Good afternoon,

Is possible that the K2 workflow send an email to a user, and this user answering in the email, can execute different actions in the same instance?. And not using Outlook, using Lotus Notes.

Thank you very much

If I understand your question correctly its that you want the user to be able to action their tasks from email using a Lotus Notes client.

K2 does have an email approval capability called SmartActions.  However, this capability relies on the organization using Microsoft Exchange Server and a dedicated Exchange mailbox that the K2 blackpearl server monitors for responses.  Because you're using Lotus Notes client its probably a good bet that you do not have an Exchange Server and therefore the K2 SmartActions email approval isn't available.

However, if you have developer resources that know how to query a Lotus Notes mailbox it wouldn't be too difficult to build a Windows Service to montior the Lotus Notes mailbox and then use the K2 APIs to action the tasks on the user's behalf.  Before SmartActions came along we built similar functionality for customers against Exchange.

Hope this helps.

Tim
