Sharepoint Browser Error

In Visual Studio 2010, when i'm trying to expand the "K2 Object Browser -> Enviroment -> Sharepoint Server(s) -> Server" node it throws an error:


Sharepoint Browser Error


An error was encountered while connecting to the specified SharePoint Server: The requested name is valid, but no data of the requested type was found


Anyone knows how to solve it?

Hi,


I think some data is not being returned correctly from SharePoint to your Visual Studio instance, either because of a proxy or something else.


I would suggest that you download Fiddler2 and run it on your machine while accessing the SharePoint Server. Look at the responses that are recorded in Fiddler it might give you some more information on what is happening.


Let us know what the Fiddler output reports.
