Hi,

Just having a play around with Subviews...

In my main view i have a drop down list with 3 items in it.

I have a button which loads a Subview and allows me to edit the list and save the changes.

So, if i delete one of the items in the subview and save it and close the subview and go back to the main view, the Main view drop down still contains the 3 items (until i manually refresh the page.

Is there a rule i can use on the subview that says something like "when save toolbar button is clicked". Save chenages etc etc, but then go back to the already loaded parent view and refresh the drop down list (to reflect the edits i made in the subview)???

Thanks

Hi Sharpharp1

There is a rule "When subview/subform is closing"

under this rule re-populate the drop down list

Hi Mustafa,

Thanks for the quick reply.

Just tried your suggestion on the parent view and works great. -Didn't think it would be that easy!

Thanks as always Mustafa
