Archive/Copy Document and Change Name

Jump to solution

I have a worklfow that runs a weekly report and exports to Word. When the workflow runs, I'd like to take the last week's Word doc and renamed it with the report date like so "Weekly Report - 12/1/2017"

All of the copy document info I've found leaves the doc name untouched. That will work one time, but I'd like the archive to be able to hold more than one document. Does anyone know how to do this?

Looks like this thread covers what I'm trying to do. I will implement the steps outlined and give it a try.

I'm stuck on the step with the destination URL. The example in the link below is for a list workflow, and I have a site workflow. ItemProperty:FileLeafRef doesn't appear to be available for a site workflow. Anyone know how to do this with a site workflow?

Use a workflow to copy (and rename) a file to another library? Nintex 2013

Solution detail in this thread. I am calling a list item workflow to archive the document from my site workflow.

Start List Workflow From Site Worklfow
