I was wondering what is the best way to refresh a SharePoint 2010 smartobject after modifying a list?

I went back in under K2 site settings and then K2 smartobject site lists and libraries and re-ran the the wizard to create the smartobject, but I still do not see the new columns (in K2 designer) I added to the list.

Did you click 'Create' on the "Smartobject site lists and libraries"? That will refresh the service instance and the smartobject. What kind of changes did you do to the list?

Yea, I clicked create.

I made a simple change of adding a column.  The first time I tried to create, I received a timeout error.  I'm thinking that the error may have broken the connection between the list and the smartobject service.

Looks like the new column wasn't part of the Content type "item".  Since the smartobject draws off the item, it wasn't able to see that new field.  Under list settings, I adjusted the Item content  type and now I can see the new column.
