Add background shading to an area on Nintex form

Jump to solution

Hello,  I would like to add a shading background color to a section of the form, in particular on an area at the bottom where it is reserved for approvals.  In the sample screenshot below, I would like to add a light grey shading to the area marked "RMD Use" from left all the way to the right of the form and down to the signature and date fields.  As is, the entire form has a white background, which is intended.  Is there a way to accomplish this?

place a panel on form, span it to the width of form, move all the controls into it and set panel's bg color

I would agree with Marian's response as it's the most common use. The upside to using a panel is that you can now disable/hide the controls within the panel using rules based on the user's group membership.

Great solution Marian.  It worked!  Thank you both!
