Hi all,

We are working in a project were we need some AD infromation like department.

We found that there is a SMO called AD User that seems to have some information like country and department but it does not have any read method.

Is ther a way to work with more detailed information from Active Directory?

Thanks in advance

Hello jgua2418,

From the SmartObject Service Tester tool ([LocalDrive]:Program Files (x86)K2 blackpearlBin), you can create an AD User smartobject (found under Serviceobject Explorer > AD Service 2 > Active Directory Service2).

You will probably need to input a different Name as an out-of-the-box AD User smartobject exists. Once published, this smartobject contains a method called ‘GetUserDetails’ that will allow you to retrieve more details including Department, Country.
