Hi All,
After many years of putting it off i have now fiannly converted to K2 and i must say i love the ease of use.
I do have a qestions currently my url for one of my blog posts reads:
http://www.mywebsite.co.uk/component/k2/item/225-this-weeks-top-stories
I want it to be more like
http://www.mywebsite.co.uk/this-weeks-top-stories

First of all, congrats on the full conversion! Second, are you using Joomla for your website? If so, this is a Joomla question, not a K2 question. I would suggest asking on their forums available at:

My joomla SEF's are setup correctly as all my non K2 pages are fine, its only the pages i have built in K2 that have the issues so ia m confused as to why its a joomla issue.

Joomla is what controls the URL on your website. In fact, K2 has no control of those options. From what I have seen of Joomla, there are menu options through their interface that would allow you to change these things, but the issue is completely with Joomla, not with K2.
