Hi

I have a view which has a control which when clicked opens a sub-view window.

The sub-view is populated with list data from a smart object

I would like the user to be able to select a row and then pass the data back to the parent view from which the sub-view was opened.

Cant seem to find anyway of doing this?
Could anyone help

thanks

Does anyone know where this link has been moved to, as the current link is broke.

Through the glorious wayback machine, I have located this article.  The pictures however seem to be lost.  I'll continue looking for a "better" version if I can find one.

The first link is dead and the second is blocked by my corporate firewall.

My solution was to add the normal "Open a subview" action and, on the subview create a rule that happens when the user has selected the desired data. When you return to the parent form's rules tab you will see the subview's rule. Edit the subview's new rule and perform a transfer data from the subview to the parent view.
