Our organisation has SharePoint 2013 and is about to get K2 Blackpearl with SmartForms.

I've been asked to build an application that can be used to manage contracts within my organisation and I thought SharePoint and K2 would potentially work well for this. Essentially it will be a 1 to many relationship between the contract record and documents associated with each contract.

As we are about to get K2 and Smartforms I was wondering if this is possible with K2? I was thinking a K2 smartform that saves to a SharePoint list. Within the form a user can attach documents that are saved for the workflow process to a SharePoint document library. Meta data should be captured via the form and saved to the documents to maintain their relationship.

One of the requirements is that if the form / record is updated all the associated document meta-data must also be updated. Can this sort of thing be done easliy with K2?

Cheers and thanks for your help

Hi Marcello,

Copying/Updating documents within a SharePoint Library is possible using the document events.
