Symptoms
I have a WCF service that updates a SharePoint list. The method works fine except I do not know how to clear a person field once it has been populated. I do not get an error it just doesn't remove the name.
Diagnoses
The issue appears to be a bug in SharePoint Service V2 SmartObject.
Resolution
You should be able to use SharePoint Service V1 Service Broker. However, this broker is not available in the version of blackpearl that you have. You will need to upgrade blackpearl to version 4.6.7 or higher.
