is it possible to connect two cascading dropdown lists?

Hi all, hope you're doing well.

I saw an application made in InfoPath where the creator managed to connect two cascading dropdown to interact together in a form for a SP list. So, for example, if a user selected in dropdown 1 value "X", the second dropdown would be also setted to "X", and it worked in both ways. This funcionality would be usefull in the application I'm working on a Nintex form.

So, i was wondering, is there a way to reply the same effect in a Nintex form? I searched online but couldn't find a similar situation, maybe i tried looking for it in a wrong way.

Thank you in adavance!

Unfortunatley the functionality you require is not available out of the box.
At present Nintex forms can only set a Single Lines of text control based on another control using a rule when using Responsive Forms.

This may be acheivable in a classic form using Javascript.

If you would like to see this functionality out of the box please visit to make your request or vote on an exiting request.
