function showing control ID not name of control

we had a form that was working with tabs. Suddenly it has stopped. Click on tabs and related panels do not change.

Noticed the function code is not(or({Control:d4e43fab-0e8c-405e-8652-591dae9d6511}=="Contract
Award", {Control:d4e43fab-0e8c-405e-8652-591dae9d6511}=="All"))

what is the control: d4e43fab-0e8c-405e-8652-591dae9d6511

should that not be a name of a field or control? How do I fix it to get the tabs to work. I can t build functions as the (fx) icon when opening the form throws an object not set ref error.

Re: function showing control ID not name of control

I've seen this happen for two reasons in the past:

1) The named control had been deleted.  Maybe you even recreated it, either way this causes this sort of thing to happen.  Try to reinsert the named control into the formula.  This sounds like this is the case for you.

2) I've seen this happen in O365 Forms for no reason other than the program deciding it to do it on its own.

Thanks

Mike M I've seen this as well when you import/export forms in O365. Re-associating those controls should fix your issue melanie tully!

Hi Melanie,

I can see in my absence, my colleague Ricardo had contacted you last Friday but it appears he was having trouble arranging a conference with you due to the security policy in your environment.

I think it would be quicker if we discuss this over a call and we can try and arrange a meeting pending you're IT team being able to permit the GTM.

Kind regards,

Sumit
